There is a saying that goes, “If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it” but this kind of thinking does not go down well with us at Securemetric especially when it involves our standard of quality when servicing customers. That is why, on November 2011, Securemetric embarked on a journey to be one of ISO 9001:2008 certified company.
We chose ISO 9001 as it is an international quality management standard and is rapidly becoming the most popular quality standard in the world. Thousands of organizations in over 100 countries have adopted it, and many more are in the process of doing so. Besides that, since ISO 9001 controls quality, it also improves work efficiency, reduces chance of mistake and prepares us for the long term expansion of our company.
During the certification process, there were hiccups along the way but it was a good experience for all of the staffs as we managed to highlight good practices and identify deficiencies that needed improvements. Our effort paid off as we are now officially an ISO 9001:2008 certified company as at 3rd February 2012. We are really proud of our achievement and hopefully with this certification, we can increase our great standards of service to our customers.
